Hi there everyone!
I have a 99' Silverado 4x4 Ext Cab that I am going to change the shocks on. I just got 4 new Z71 shocks to replace my old ones (my truck is not a Z71). Can anyone tell me what the factory torque settings are for the bolts so I can match the GM settings? I am very much into doing things right and they torque things for a reason from the factory..... Thanks everyone! |

Make
Make them a tight as possible by hand. Some nuts should be over torqued and some should not.
Anything about suspension should be tight as possbile. Well shocks are not that important but Tie rod ends should be. I think the rating os around 90 lbs. |
