A good set of tires sure helped with my 92. Not much else I can think of for a cheap ride like a tercel.

You have any certain ones that you can recommend? I dont know what i can fit on there, the wheel well is small from what i can see and i haven't looked much up for the tercel. Although, i found a air intake that im gonna buy myself for xmas because it is only 50$. Thanks

I just went to Sams Club and put on a set of Dunlops 15570R13's, the standard size tire that came with the car. Walked out the door with 4 tires, road hazard and free rotation and balancing for the life of the tires for $148.00. The last set I had I got from Goodyear (paid over $200)and they were some off brand tire they sell and they were very noisy plus one of the tires had a VERY bad radial pull. I thought the front end was out but it turned out to be the tire. I am not knocking Goodyear because I have a set of Regatta II's on my Camry and a set of Wranglers on my Tundra and they are some good tires. I am not sure if they make a Regatta II in a size for the Tercel but if they do that would be a very good tire to put on your car. I am on my second set of them on the Camry and will always replace them with the same as long as they keep making them.

You have to keep in mind that the Tercel is just an econobox and it will never drive as smooth as a Camry. My Tercel is just a daily driver to keep the miles off my truck and save a bundle on gas. You might want to make sure the back shocks are tight at the top of the tower, that might help with some rattling. Take out the back seat to get to the nuts. Spray some undercoating in the fenderwells and under the bottom side of the floorboards to rid yourself of some of the road noise. Get a good stereo and speakers and just turn it up like I do!!
