4-Way Flasher
Where is the flasher located on a 94 Z-28 to operate the 4 ways. The manual says it is in the convieience centre??? I am hoping the flasher is pulled out of the socket and just needs to be put back in.
Thanks in advance |

the flasher, if you mean hazard lights, then they are on the steering column, on the right side towards the bottom. you push in the center part to activate, and pull the outside outward to release it

Re: 4-Way Flasher
what would cause one set of flashing bulbs to not work? (right rear) the main filiment works, but the one for signals doesn't, I haven't checked to see if it comes on when brakes are pressed. I've tried different bulbs as well, and all other bulbs around the car are working.

Re: 4-Way Flasher
The hazards light flasher I am referring to is like a large relay that usually plugs into the fuse panel. There is one for the signal lights and one for the hazards. The swich is located on the steering column which I am aware of. It is the actual flasher that I need to locate.

Re: 4-Way Flasher
OHHHHHHH ok, sorry im retarded, that flasher should be located in the center of the dash, up underneith, in the "conveinience center" which is ironicly placed about as inconveiniently as possible.

Re: 4-Way Flasher
The flasher is like a relay that plugs into the fuse box. It is usually round but sometimes square and is the device that times the flasher in an open and closed circuit. If you didn't have this relay you would have to manually put your turns signal on and off to have a flashing sequence.
