Greddy turbo timer problem need help

I have a greddy turbo timer that i installed awhile ago. problem is it does not function the way it is suppose to. it powers on and everything but when i turn the car off it turns off with the car. the car use to have a possible aftermarket car alarm and or remote start that was taken out and some wiring has been left behind. i took out all the wires that did not belong that i could find. does anyone have a solution on how to fix it or what to look for that could be causin the problem?
