awesome man, I was flippin channels and caught that tonight. It was great. They had some awesome footage of the GN's running at the track.


The ending kinda sucked though those guys drove like p*ssies. even their burn outs were barely there.

meh, the turbo Buicks are slower with at stick. They tried it with the 89 TTA prototypes, they where a full second slower. every time you shift you lose boost. Considering the car redlines at 5500 RPM, that is alot of spool time for such a low revving engine.

The people who did the mods did not know much about the cars. The reason the relay blew was because the stock pumps and wiring can't take the added current draw. They also used '85's... Whey they did not use the '86-'87 years I don't know. I guess they did not to to bad considering the fact that the drivers had to be told how the chrismas tree works and stuff like that. Oh if anyone wants the videos that they had on the show. most of them are at www.gnttype.org

yea, the GN that they showed (about 50 times) at night doing the massive wheelstand, if you watch the video, all four of the wheels are off the ground.


Here is the video of that clip. Keep an eye on the rear tires and notice that all four go up in the air. It's too good
