I was lookin around on ebay, and i found alot of these so called 'HP Chips', also known as Speed Seeker's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=42604
I was wondering if anyones ever heard of these, or ever tried one out. Are they any good? supposedly it gives you up to 20 more horse power by modifying your air/fuel ratio. Any comments? Is it worth the money? |

Re: HP Chip
I am not a 100% sure but i think all it is, is a resistor that tells the intake air a false temp. so your car runs harder for instance when you start it up in the morning it idles higher cause it is cold i think that is all that does but like i said i am not 100% sure

Re: HP Chip
Stay away from those Ebay chips, they're a rip-off.

that about says it all... all the do is dump more fuel into the cylanders and the usually make you run rich. Unless you have mods to burn up all the extra fuel your gona slowly suffocate your car to death by drowning it. Its like cigs with outfilters.. all the carbon build up.
