Longtubes

Is there a way to fit the SLP Longtube Headers for the LS1 onto an LT1? What would I have to do to make them fit onto a 94 Z28?

Re: Longtubes

This would require heating the header's til they reached a liquid state then putting them into a mold of LT1 header's, Allow time for cooling then your done.(sorry if the sarcasm bothered you but unlike you may think a LT1 and LS1 besides both being v8's and 5.7 have nothing in common.)

Re: Longtubes

Or you could break the welds on the flange, get a flange for a gen 1 motor, heat the tubes so they can bend, then re weld them into the new flanges.

Or you could click your heels 3 times while stating "there's no car's like F-bodys". Til monkey's fly out your butt and then see if any of monkey's are those crazy wish granting monkey's and then you could wish your LS1 headers turn into LT1 headers. Although it may seem like a monkey flying out your butt is a painful thing trying to turn your LS1 headers into a set of LT1 headers just might be more painful.

Re: Longtubes

actually 92RS is on to something, basicly youd be making your own custom headers. definatly a pain in the flying monkey area, but doable. id just get a set of LT1 headers.

I would love to get a blower, but I am poor and somewhat of car-illiterate, so not only would I have to pay for the parts, but labor also...but anyway, thanks for the onfo on the headers.
