Double check the subs and amp, it could be either. When I blew my Kickers, they still played, it was one of the voice coils that was starting to go. The entire car smelled, and at first, I thought it was the new box I put them in, but it turned out it was the voice coil on the sub that were fried. How long have you had your subs? Have you been pounding them? I can't think of anything else right now, can anyone else?
