Turbo Is Puttering Pls Help!!!

Well ok lemme start off with this, I have had no problems with this car at all until now.. It's not spark plugs or anything like that I have figured this one out , however when I get to about 5000 rmp and rising it seems like my turbo stops spooling fully and u hear a whistleing noise..

Now my question is what could be causing this?? the turbo isn't blown ive had one of those b4 and we all know how nasty that looks :P pls can u help me i need to figure this out thx a lot

Keep in mind my BOV is working correctly and realeasing pressure and it seems ok but the noise and the spool thx again :P

Re: Turbo Is Puttering Pls Help!!!

im guessing you have your stock 2g bov? if you do that sound is your bov leaking once your boost goes up. it will still function properly to release pressure spikes but the 2g bov leaks all the time. get a 1g bov and your problem should go away. if you have a new bov already then you probably have a boost leak, check vfaq.com for how to make a leak tester

Re: Turbo Is Puttering Pls Help!!!

Boost drops off on a T25 soon after 5000 rpms anyway . You probably just have a boost leak making things a little worse.

If you are really concerned, you can wait for your car to cool off sometime and then take the intake pipe off of the turbo inlet and check the shaft for up and down, left to right and in and out play.
