Front Door Speaker Installation:
Note: The Factory Speaker Provision Is For A 6x8" Ford Style
Speaker.
1. Pop Off The Small Cougar Emblem And Extract The Hidden
Phillips Head Screw Behind It.
2. Remove (2) Screw Covers Which Appear Like Panel Fasteners In
The Carpeted Area Of The Door Panel. Extract (1) Hidden
Phillips Head Screw Behind Each.
3. Extract (2) T-15 Torx Screws From The Back Edge Of The Door
Panel.
4. Extract (1) T-15 Torx Screw From The Upper Front Edge Of The
Door Panel.
5. Use A Panel Removal Tool To Release Fasteners Around Sides
And Bottom Of Door Panel, Lift Away, Unplug Switches,
Release/lock Cable And Remove.
6. Extract The (4) Screws Securing The Speaker, Pull The
Speaker From The Cavity, Unplug The Leads And Remove.
