The "Goddies" are coming!!

Here is an interesting new take on the old election. This is further proof that the left cannot grasp the concept that people of faith are not the "God-crazed-zealots" they believe stole the election from Kerry.
http://www.dissidentvoice.org/Nov2004/Bageant1116.htm

According to the author I, a person of faith, wish to exterminate the "neo-liberals" much as Hitler did with Jews in WWII. I vote on a personal assesment of the candidates, finding one more moral than the other (however close the margin), and I'm suddenly a Cristian-coalition zealot hell-bent on destroying the world if it cannot be my own personal vision of paradise.
This is why they democratic party will become "Holy" over the next 2-4 years (I guarantee it, and it's already started) to retake some political power. What they don't get is that it's not the religious-right who elected Bush, it was just regular people...

The wackos on the left will never get it and as long as the Democratic party caters to that fringe element, they'll continue to lose elections and become more marginalized.

The Dems are still in shock over the Michael Moore backlash. Between Moore-on and MTV, They thought the election was in the bag.

Can we give it a rest guys, the election is over.

In a two-party election, the fringe crazies are always going to align themselves with the party closest to their particular bigotry.

The tree huggers will vote Democrat
The abortion protesters will go Republican
The socalists will go Democrat
The KKK will go Republican

And so on and so on.

What this does NOT mean is that every Democrat is a treehugging socialist, or that every Republican is a KKK member who like to shoot at abortionists.

THE VAST MAJORITY OF BOTH REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT VOTERS ARE PERFECTLY SANE, ORDINARY, RATIONAL, HARDWORKING PEOPLE.

Anyone who tries to perpetuate the myth that either party survives on the votes of the fringe lunatics, the one in a thousand who have totally lost the plot,is being petty, narrow minded and vindictive.

52% of mainstream America voted Republican.
48% of mainstream America voted Democrat.

Both sides picked up the votes of a few crazies who couldn't get popular support for their own agendas.

By far the biggest losers are those who didn't bother to vote.

You and I agree 100%!!! It's this particular article, that represents the veiws of too many of our media elite, that I find hysterical. They cannot blame their agenda or politics, it must be the kooks! This guy sounds far more paranoid than anything I heard from republicans after Clinton's defeat of Bush 41 and ABC's senoir correspondent Carole Simpson's comments last week about the "slavery states" voting for Bush just add icing to the cake!

UGH! I heard some clips from that slave-state thing. Utter BS. IMO, there is indeed a distinct "polarization" (favorite talking-head word there) in this country over the way things are anyways. Do I see, and am I disgusted with the garbage put forth by many "left-wing liberal crazies"? Sure I am. Am I concerned with, and thoroughly troubled by the current pressure for reform based on the views of the "religious right"? You had better believe it. Both groups are nuts, both groups are wrong, and (I sure hope) neither group represents the majority. Do I think "slave states" decided the election, and George Bush alone is the devil? Hell no. Do I think someone trying to censor what I want to hear, watch, or read, and push their views on what constitutes a "proper marriage" down my throat is correct? That's a big NO. But all willing, in the end, both sides will cancel each other out, and sane reason will prevail.

Yeah, Kerry tried than move. He visited a different black chuch about every Sunday for the last several weeks to no avail. He probably hasn't darked the doorway of a church since his loss. THAT is a good example of hypocracy.
