89 Escort wont start

Well here it is.
The engine will turn over sometimes try to fire.
But if I pull start it for three blocks it starts burns off some gas and then runs fine starting up for the day.
If I leave the car sit for more than 12 hrs it will not start again.
I have replaced the
electronic Brain BOX
the throttle control
And the idle control to no avail any sugestions

how about fuel filter or pump
