seats bucking

I own a 01 Civic sedan and the seats seem to rock back and forth as if out of alignment. Does anyone notice this problem with their civics. I bough it used a year and half ago.

Re: seats bucking

Does the back of the seat rock or the bottom where your ass is ? Check the bolts and everything under the seat if that is the case. IT could just be too worn out. My fathers seat in his car had to be replaced cause it was just not working properly anymore.

Re: seats bucking

I took it to the dealership and they want to put chims (sp) to fix the problem.

same problem with mine, just make sure everything is tight, and if it still moves you can use metal shims to cure the problem.

Re: Re: seats bucking

Okay this is a very common problem with (no offense to yawl) Fat Asses...My girlfriend and her mom both have 01 Civic Ex's and her Uber fat assed step dad would sit in the seat and break the bracket underneath... all you have to do is replace the faulty bracket and not let bastard like him in the F**KING car!!!
