3.0 DOHC or OHV
I work at a parts store and Im always asking my customers this.
and they NEVER know what im talking about (and they're mechanics!) Anyway I was wondering if anybody knows a good place to get a picture of both engines in the engine bay so i can make 400 copies and send them out to my customers.

Ford has two motors out in the Taurus a 3.0l Vulcan (OHV) and a 3.0l Duratec (DOHC). The Vulcan produces aprox. 155hp while the Duratec produces aprox. 200hp. The most obvious thing to look for is the big Duratec printed on the intake
 . If they're not sure, ask them if it's faster than most Tauruses  Hope this helps, Denis

I KNOW that.
I wanted pictures of the two to send to them. You know how some people can read directions and some have to look at the pictures. Thats the case here. No matter what I tell them they respond with "huh?"

just ask "does the engine say DURATEC on the top of it?" if it doesn't, then its not a duratec
