Car recall and refund

Dear all
i am an Opel Astra (model 2000-engineX12XE) owner.As a person living in Egypt, i thought that the mass air flow sensor and throttle body problem of my car is a unique phenomenum.

So any idea about a collective petition and complain?any legal advises?Refund?Compensation?
