Ok... so what does everybody think of the Zonda, and tell me WHY you don't like it or why you do, and what would you change on it if you could change anything?

I would just change the rear. Make it look like a Saleen S7 or McLaren F1's rear. Just minor though.

I really like this car. It's good to see that Italy is making more Supercars! I really like how it looks a little like a spaceship. Do they make any other colors besides silver? How old is Pagani anyways?

They do come in other colours, and if you want a colour, they would most likely make it for you.
The company is owned by Horacio Pagani, who moved to Modena in 1982. He worked for Lamborghini for awhile, and now he has his own company.

He was originally going to call in Fangio, after his (infamous) friend. However, after his death, he decided not to, as he hadnt got permission from him yet.

Yup, two versions. The C12S is the best, and soon there might be a 7.3 litre V12 that goes to 7000rpm, opposed the the current S engine of 7.1 liters and 6000rpm.

Chris --- where are you getting your information?

The Zonda is not called the Fangio because he died before he could name it that - out of respect he changed it. Not because he had not gotten permission.

There are only 2 versions of the Zonda available. Chris-where did you here about another one?

My fav. body style is the C12, but the C12 S has the best engine and performance. Basically, whatever colors you want, you get! All quality pictures ever found by me are @ PaganiZonda.com, so you can check that out for a few other colors.

Adam - Zonda freak

BTW - TV show on supercars~!!?!??! when!!! where!!!!!!

Either way, it was tasteful.

The new engine is under development by Mercedes, and if it is made, guess whose going to get it.

I got this info from the October issue of Automobile, in stores now

PS, what are the differences between the C12 and C12S??
PSS, when you buy a zonda, you get a custom matching pair of leather shoes

The two versions are described in the General Info section @ paganizonda.com, and also is in one of the threads here.

Talking GT3 the PS2 game!

GT3 a gaming revolution!!
:alien: Has anyone got the PS2 game GT3??? The Zonda is wicked to look at but isn't the best car on the game!! My favourite is either the polyphony 002 or the Gillet Vertigo race car. Anyone got any different views?

Yes. The Zonda is my favorite.lol..

I don't have the game tho. I just am obsessed w/ the Zonda. I would be the Zonda just so I could stare at the jet exhaust.

Newbie Alert! Newbie Alert!

Yo,

Howdy, just wanted to join your forum and say thanks for the great Zonda resources! Like most people on this forum, I think the Zonda epitomizes the word "Exotic." My friend and I laughed during the last Superbowl, because out of the millions and millions of people watching in America, only a couple of thousand knew that the car in the commercial was a Zonda.

Why do I like the Zonda? Mostly the styling, and knowing that you can't get better carbon fiber work done. I love the idea of having a hand made, hand laid, hand stitched performance machine. The exclusivity as well. It doesn't really get much more exotic and exclusive than the Zonda. I want one.

Your friend at 8000rpm,

I LOVE the rear on this car, particularly the jet-engine 4-outlet exhaust, and the F1-inspired front-nose (C12S).

Things I'd change:
- price should be closer to that of a Lambo Diablo/Murcielago
- the base C12 motor is too "tame" IMO -- C12S rocks
- make a sequential manual transmission (auto-clutch) as an option -- the best unit currently available is the SMG-II system on the current BMW M3

oh, I like the rear, I just wish it was a bit different. I love the exhaust, but the layout kinda seems a bit smashed together. It just doesn't seem to go, I love the elements alone but not combined to well I guess.
