6x9 speakers
ok, so i bought some pioneer 5 way 400 watt 6x9 speakers for the rear deck of my 97 cavalier z24.... however..... they dont fit into the stock slots..... how do I install these things? Please help!

You have to bolt them in from the underside. That's how I did mine.

I found no difference when i had my 4- way pioners before the got jacked.. to my fosgate 3 ways... i think your paying for really nothing.... just my $.02

i love my pioneer 4-way 6x9's. I took a pair of tin snips and cut the back deck to perfectly fit the speakers. There was nothing to it and it took no time at all. No rattle, sounds great. That metal is thin and easy to cut, that's my suggestion. I did it to a '96 and an '02. Works great.

shoulda read this before i took a grinder to that back metal cutout...... widened it quite a bit till the speakers were flush... took a LOOONG time.... hopefully they dont rattle when i finsih 'em up tomorrow. thank anyways.
