Burning smell from engine compartment
My wifes 97 Chevy Venture has 65,000 miles. Good vehicle. Recently noticed burning smell from engine compartment after engine warmed up. Smells like burning rubber. Could this be a bad head gasket?

Re: Burning smell from engine compartment
check and make sure you have no seized pulleys it sounds to me if it is a rubber smell it could be the serpentine belt.
