motor questions
could i stick a dohc head on my sohc d15 to convert it or do/should i jsut go rebuild a d16 dohc motor

you can't put a dohc on a soch block - the only dohc block that's d series is a zc engine - no other d series motor will adapt to that head.

got yea but a few last questions 1. what will i need to convert and 2. isnt the d16y8 dohc motor not jsut the zc motor for a dohc cause thats what ive seen

hmm spell check
It wont work. I have heard rumors that a dohc zc head will fit on a d15b3 block? But dont know. It went around honda-tech a while ago. The only other dohc d-series is the DOHC ZC, D16a1, and (D16a3?) |

hmm well i guess im gonna do a zc swap then cause i swat the motor i wanted in a junk yard and i wanan rebuild one so yea. didnt happen to chekc the number on the block though

is the motor in the junkyard in an old integra? if so thats not a ZC its not even worth swapping in, only 115hp. you would be better off gettin a D16z6 out of a 92-95 EX
