Unhappy Front end Moaning sound

I have a moaning sound coming from the front end while driving. Sounds like I have snow tires on the car! Just started happening a couple weeks ago. Anyone have any Ideas what my problem is?

I had a slight growling/moaning noise on drivers front.
Traction light and ABS light came on as well.

I changed out the drivers side axle bearing last week and took care of it.

If that is your diagnosis, search this forum for "axle bearing" and there are excellent instructions posted to repair.

Only took about 45 minutes to complete. Bearing was almost two hundred dollars at Oriely.

Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I couldn't tell which side of the car the noise was coming from, so I jacked up each side, one at a time, put the car in neutral (tire that was off the ground started spinning in neutral) and got out and listened for noise. I determined it was coming from the right side, so I removed the wheel bearing, which wasn't difficult at all. Took about a week for the new bearing to come in and another 3/4 hour to install. Running like a dream!
