LS VTEC questions

I don't mean to sound dumb, but can someone explain ls VTEC to me? Whats the difference? I dnow what VTEC is and how it works, but what is ls VTEC or VTEC-E??? Anyone???

Reason why they call it LS/VTEC is they take a b18a/b
block and put a b16 or b18c or type r head on it, producing amount of power, where your getting the strongest bottem end (b18a/b) and the highest top end (b16, b18c). Now you got the highend and the bottom end at once. Thats why they called it the Frankenstien swap, in this case the LS/Vtec.
