Quick disconnects o-rings fuel leak

One of my fuel lines is leaking gas right on the supercharger, Is there a way to replace the o-ring inside the metal coupler end of the plastic fuel line. I was hoping it was an o-ring on themetal line but this design has it in the fuel line. How do you get the o-ring out and does anyone have the part number for a replacement o-ring?

It's killing my fuel economy. I looked into the fuel line end and see an orange o-ring, it's not exactly round all around but seems to be flat, unless taht is what is causing my leak. I would love a damn part number so I can dental pick this thing out and re-seat a new one.

yeah the plastic fuel line side, in the metal coupling there is an orange o-ring in there that is supposed to seal it to the metal fuel line.

Re: Quick disconnects o-rings fuel leak

OK so i just got back from the dealer and their computer wasnt showing the coupler only the lines so the parts guy brought a mechanic in and he said that the whole fuel line had to be replaced from the tank to here LOL yea right id goto home depot and get a hose washer and silacone and ducttape the thing first... one of my lines seems to have alot of play in it such as it can slide onto the other line alot by the way how did you get these lines apart?

Can get them apart by using a 3/8" quick disconnect tool. I also went to GM today ,they told me same thing. They said if I try and dislodge the o-ring it can break apart and fall down thefuel line, and they told me it's almost impossible to get the new o-rings to seat in the grooves, yes there are two o-rings. I actually got mine to stop leaking today. I wedged a fuse puller between thefuel line and brake booster hose, raising it up,thus exerting some pressure on the fuel line and so far no leak.

What part are you talking about?

Sorry about that, it listed twice and won't delete one.

OK, here's fuel lines for a 1997. Does it go at the end of the "in" line?
