Tranny Shudder

I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix. While the engine is cold transmission will shudder into gears. ONce the engine gets hot, it starts to shift hard. Can anyone help me out.

try changing the trans filter. If that doesn't help, you probably have a bad shift solenoid or two. What ever you do, if your car has over 80k, DO NOT let anyone talk you into a trans flush, unless you like replacing transmissions.

is that a pressure solenoid or what??
