I really don't know alot mechanically about engines and such. But i'd like to know this. Stock (on my 95) hp is 205@over4000rpm and 265ft lbs@3200, what would a supercharger make those number jump to.
I'm guessing 320hp and 350ft lbs?? |

Re: Supercharger on a 4.6 TBird..How Much HP and TQ Would You Gain?
I say 290 Horsepower and 350 Ft Lbs torque, but it really depends on the supercharger in question.

Re: Supercharger on a 4.6 TBird..How Much HP and TQ Would You Gain?
CAN you just slap a supercharger on the stock v8 engine? If it was built with a stock supercharger.. which they should have done anyways.. it would probably be around 300 HP, but if you wanted to do that project on your own wouldnt you have to upgrade a lot of things which would result in much higher than 300 HP? Im not at all claiming to be an authority on the subject, but am I right? and if you CAN just slap one on there, how hard would it be to just slap one on a 3.8 too?
