performance - depends on your car/other mods but improves slightly either way gas mileage - probably not if you want a cold air box intake, you should probably buy 1 because its easier unless you are handy and have access to some materials. here are some links for these http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=21009 http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=21039 http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/pro..._induction.htm for a homemade federwell intake here are some links http://home.centurytel.net/grandprix/fwi/ http://www.grandprix.net/upgrades/fwi/ http://tacgp.clubgp.com/custom_mods...take/index.html http://tacgp.clubgp.com/custom_mods...take/index.html http://www.johnvegas.com/Fwi.htm or for just the install of a k&n filter go here http://www.grandprix.net/upgrades/intake.html hope this helps
