Cavalier interior questions

Hi i have a 2004 cavalier and i have done some interier work on it, i have painted my dash and variouse parts of the inteiror, and installed blue LED lights in my guage pod, but i am have problems with a few pieces.

1. the door panels, i want to paint the door panels, but i cant see the little c clip that holds it on, and i want to paint the part around the door handle, i took the 2 screews out but its still wont come out, is it connected wher i have to take the whole door panel off, also when i wrecked my car the guy at the body shop said hwen u take the door panel off of my car u have to break the inside door handle off cause its rivited on, any tips on removing the door panels in a 2004 cavy without fucking it up would be great, i dont have power locks or windows.

2. the rear speakers, i tried to get the back panel off to replace the factory speakers, i pulled the panels off behind the seat, but it looks like the carpet goes under the panels that run around the back windows, mine is a 2 door, can i bend the carpet panel and pull it out and get it back in?? or do i need ot take other stuff off. also the middle seat belt is tied into it, and i think i need a special took to undo the bolt that holds it in. any tips on how to get this off would be apreciated.

3. the shift knob, ive heard u ajust pull up on it, im sure i can get it off, but my question is can i buy any regular shift knob at like auto zone and have it go on. also is their a way to get the top of the seats off because they do not have a button to unlock them and pulling on them will just rip them where the metal bars are glued into the head rest. i hope someone can answer these questions for me

As for the little clip, use a cloth just in side the crank part, move it back and forth untill the clip comes off but make sure it doesnt spring from sight.
