2004 SR5 v6 engine ticking

Can anyone tell me what is the ticking sound from the engine when you go around a tight turn somewhat fast. Or you slide a little in a turn on wet pavement. I get a ticking sound and no acceleration. When I let up it will stop and I can accelerate. Is this common with this engine or do I need to go to the shop. It doesnt happen a lot but still happens and the truck is on 14,000 miles old.

Thanks
