I know what your talking about, my friends crysler van used to do that with the back right speaker, I will ask them how they fixed it I want to say they just unhooked the speaker, and I know thats really not an option for you but i think that it may have a bad connection and might be grounding out somewhere??? Hope this helps, probably didn't.

Did this happen exactly after you installed the radio, or did you make any other changes with that? Try to narrow what it could be down, so you dont have to pull everything apart.

Re: annoying buzz coming from somewhere. JAKE!!!

use a better ground location... either that or run a wire strait from the negative on the battery to the ground wire on the deck.

are you using an amp? if so make sure that is grounded good and if that still doesnt help then you need a new set of RCA wires. (this is only if you are using an amp)

Re: annoying buzz coming from somewhere. JAKE!!!

yup. if you really want to get rid of that hiss you can buy my audio controle 4.1 crossover. like they said, thats a grounding problem. if you have an amp installed, make sure the remote & constent power wires are no where near the RCA's and Speaker wires. it best to seperate them as much as possable, its also a great idea to stick your Power/remote together and brade them, or put them in your cordless dill and wind them together, same with your speaker wires, and rca. that helps THD, not significantly, but a little. if you still have the problem after what jake and i said, let me know, i'll help you track it down

Re: annoying buzz coming from somewhere. JAKE!!!

yea, start with the ground wire, if you can drill a hole into the firewall and and use a screw & o connecter to ground it out, you wont have to run a wire all the way to your battery. if that dosn't get rid of the problem goto radio shak and get a noise suspressor, (little resister box 1 power wire W/ 2 grounds) it put it inline with your deck wires to reduce signal noise. use the other ground wire to stick on your firewall. Most decks now a days come with internal signal processors, or other noise filters. is that a new deck? my cars had that problem. it was my mbquart 5 1/4 componets. the 4 gauge power wire was ran through the passenger side door molding, along with my amp wires causing interfearence with my right / fronts becasue they were running together back to the amp. i seperated the speaker wires and power wires, while it helped, it didnt get rid of the problem so i had to get a signal processor to get rid of it all.

sorry to hear about the noise polution

Re: annoying buzz coming from somewhere. JAKE!!!

HAHAHAHA now that i remeber. I was giving my friend a ride that drives a civic. and hes kinda clueless about dsms. he just knows they have turbos. And all of sudden he heard my buzzing noise getting higher everytime i steped on the gas. So he asks whats that? so i get stuck on what to say "oh thats my turbo spooling up" and hes all like "wow that sounds cool" I busted out laughing in my head how clueless he was . the sound was horrible, but once i said it was a turbo he was all over how cool it sounds. I had the greatest laugh of my life when he got out the car.

Re: annoying buzz coming from somewhere. JAKE!!!

i had that same exact problem. what happened was when i had my amp hooked up, i used the radio power wire because i didn't know which one was the remote cause it's japanese wiring. then i found a wiring diagram and hooked it up to the regular remote from the car an it quit. the buzzing is coming from your speakers and the speakers are picking up an interference from somewhere. if that doesn't work, make sure all the connections on your radio are connected correctly and that they aren't grounding out or something. let me know how it turns out.
