2003 mirror jiggle

I have a 2003 2500 silverado 4x4 allison with the electric slide and blinker mirrors. I have almost 36k miles on this thing and the mirrors jiggle like crazy. It's hard to even see anything out of them. Wondering if anyone else has this problem. The dealership said they drove a truck of similar model and saw the same thing so they don't see a problem.

Re: 2003 mirror jiggle

Do these trucks have bug-shields on the hood? I installed a bug-flector one of my old fords and it did this.

mirror jiggle...

My 99 Silverado has the jiggle too. My driver side mirror kind of vibrates and makes the view blurred or unclear. I just put some soft foam from a swim noodle around the mirror and housing. ALso the reply about the bug flector, I think he is refering to the noise around the dash at speed. It is kind of like a crackling sound. The dealer blamed it on the bug flector, but it was there before I put it on. Somewhere I heard it was the window moulding causing the noise. It can be very annoying. Passengers always remark about it.
