GTO if you want a comfortable fast car that handles well
Mustang if you want a comfortable fast car thats cheaper
STI if you want an uncomfortable slightly faster car

SRT-4 is the fastest one..and is capable of easily beating all of those.

You can have Dodge put there stage2 turbo on it, and have her reach 0-60 in 5 seconds..

Re: 04'GTO, STI, EVO, 05' mustang, SRT-4??

There's no way in hell an SRT-4 is taking out an STi, Evo, or Mustang SVT Cobra. I doubt it could even take out a GTO or a 2005 Mustang GT. However, it's got great bang-for-buck and for the $30,000 or so that you'd spend on the other cars, you could have an SRT-4 in the 12's or maybe even 11's. My personal pick would be the Evo, because the chassis and suspension are so well done.

kman.. ah, yeah, an srt4 will beat the cars i mentioned.. I forgot to mention though, WITH a stage3 mopar upgrade. It would easily be in the mid 11's and 4.6 0to60..

I say the LS1 powered GTO if you plan on modding the car. Those things are easy to make monsters with just minor bolt on's.

If it is going to be a daily driver I would go with the GTO. If it is going to be a garaged car that is strictly for fun I'd personally go with the evo or sti
