what grade gas to use??

Im running a 3.4 inch pulley and tr66 plugs do i have to use the 93-94 octane the price is killin me

You should use premium grade with the supercharged 3.8. I believe it's in the owners manual too. If you use lower octane you will eventually cause engine damage. You could use the lower octane on the non SC 3.8s.

You need the highest octane you can get on the supercharged 3.8. 93 or 94 is good. If you use 87 or 89 you will experience severe detonation on hard acceleration and end up with a destroyed engine. Anytime you compress air in the combustion chamber you need the higher octane to decrease the possibility of pre-ignition (detonation) otherwise the noise you hear may be parts breaking.
