Coloring contest entry

Well, it would have been my entry, had I not been too old. Anyway, I colored this at the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals in Pueblo last summer, but unfortunately, I was one year too old to enter. Its cool though, the year before I entered and easily took first place with a two-tone '51 Studebaker. It was sweet. Anyhoo, here's my wanna-be-entry.

They're not my best flames, but the judges saw it and said if I hadnt been too old, it would have been no contest. So that made me feel good.

Coloring Rulez!

Re: Coloring contest entry

That's what I thought. I figured colouring contests are usually like that.

Thumbs up

Very Nice, I have that same coloring book. The cars in there are awesome. Just want to make a few hundred copies of each to do all kinds of different paintjobs. Keep up the good work.

Re: Coloring contest entry

He probably would have drawn it but the contest gave them the copies to colour. It was a colouring contest.

Nice job, i picked up a couple of those same coloring books a few years ago at a custom car show. I should have photocopied a few of them before i colored them, I have an autographed Rat Fink coloring book, I'll photocopy that before i ever think of coloring that one.

Re: Coloring contest entry

Colour the photocopy. Don't you dare colour the original Rat Fink book. You must preserve it, like put it in a jar or something....
