extra wires

Ever since I've owned my '90 Euro (I got it 5 years ago) I've noticed that there is an extra electrical connector next to the fuel pump relay and positive battery post. It has 2 wires. Does anybody know what in the hell this is for? My guess is it's for an option my car doesn't have, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks

Re: extra wires

there is usually a wire coming off the fuel relay that is a test wire for the fuel pump, but it is only one wire. IF the connector is a 2-wire, then you are probably correct that it's for an option your car doesn't have.
