How do i get the dash off of my 2002 z24 to instal a radio?

just pull on it, I'm not positive on newer cavaliers but I think they just clip on

No it just doesn't clip on.Pull both end caps off of each side of the dash.There will be 7mm head screws that you will need to look for.Also open up the glove box and look for the 7mm screws also(there are some hiding way in the back).On top of the dash is the defroster vent take the philips screw out of it and pull it out and I think there is another 7mm hiding under there.After that you will have to pull up the whole top of the dash and it will come off.Now look aound the instrument cluster,there will be more 7mm screws.Take them out and that piece should pop off.Finally your at your radio.

just as he said but you do not have to take the heater vent screw out... and just remeber installing an after market radio is you have the dts or somthing like that you may have to have it relocated somewhere in the car. which is what i had to do for my flip screen. the stock radio had to stay in the car and go under the passenger seat. i tried to remove it and the new radio doesnt work with out it.
