2000 civic motor

a buddy called me n said he had a twin cam motor n 6spd trans from a 2000 civic...he was gonna give 2 me for the money he owed...i was wonder on any info u can think of cause a 6 spd sounds weird, n would i even be able to drop it in my hatch like the b-18 i got or is it more work to drop a 200 civic motor in?

im assumin its a b16a2 but the trans is what gets me...idk what it could b?

I dont know about work (never doen either swap before) but i know you could get a pretty penny out of that engine if its the complete swap, i wouldnt imagine it would be any different than the b18 swap its still a bseries engine, but like i said never done the swap before just what ive heard...........

depending on what engine/tranny it actually is i might go for it, unless it is a b16 i would sell the engine, and depending on what kind of transmission it is and what you have i might swap the 6 speed into my car. I know if i could get ahold of an rsx-s tranny id love to have that in my car.

i havent seen it yet but im thinkin maybe its a 5spd n he jus said 6 by accident...he deals with motors all the time n prob jus said 6..ill let u know when i see it what theis mistery motor is!
