Question Question re Hood/ Alarm / Security

My 70 has fiberglass hood w/ pins and clips. Don't like the idea that some jackass can open it up and screw with my engine whilst I attend to other things, like beer.

No alarm, no stock hood latch. Just hood pins to hold 'er down.

Any ideas to stiffen up security? Alarm ain't all that great, at least not by itself, b/c anyone can't still open the hood. Is there some kind of hood pin set that locks, that DOESN'T need to be used with the factory latch?

Re: Question re Hood/ Alarm / Security

Yeah, locks in place of the pins are good. You can also add a nice pager alarm with backup battery siren and such too. Done plenty of old classics to the point that they were pretty much bullet proof.
