newer seats older XJ

I bought a set of newer seats, 98-00. I want to install them in my 1994 xj. Has anyone incurred the problems with this before, because the mounts are nothing alike? whats the best plan of attack?

Reinforcement was needed in my 89 to achive a solid seat mount, I went from a bench too two bucket seats. Fabricate a new mount adapter so you can use both the original studs and new ones, keep in mind any height adjustment you might need for comfort. I used square and flat stock that you could find at Lowes in the legnths you would need.
