2001 Grand Am GT stuttering

I have a 2001 Grand Am GT Ram Air 3.4 automatic. The car runs great but the last couple of days I have noticed a slight stuttering or pulsing around 20-30 mph. This is occuring if I hold the gas steady, if I kick it down it does fine and I haven't really noticed anything at 50 plus. Does anyone have any ideas? The car has 39,000+ miles on it and has never had any real problems.

Thanks,

Shannon

my 2001 GA SE 2.4 Liter had been doing that a while back. I assumed it was a tranny problem but thankfully it wasn't. I had my catalytic converter replaced, which came to find out the old one was broken. That was only half the problem. I had stuttering around 65-70mph.

It seemed wiered to me since my tranny was fine, and my cat was replaced. It wasn't the fuel filter or pump. Well, my friend and I decided to give it a tune up on our own. We purchased the plugs and gauge along with the boots. Come to find out that the plugs were corroded. Once I replaced them with new spark plugs, my car had worked perfectly fine. It had more power on take off and the stuttering went away.

Give it a tune up. Or check the spark plugs and boots.
