Van starts and then bogs down and dies after 5 to 10 seconds.
I have a 1995 transport and it all of a sudden is starting up and then bogging down and dying. I changed the air filter. Should we change the fuel filter? Anyone have any recommendations? Where is the fuel filter?

First suspicion: fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump.
What engine? you should disconnect fuel line at the fuel rack (3.8) /throttle body (3.1) and find if it delivers fuel first. Inline fuel filter is somewhere underneath the car. |

It's underneath in the back. You can't miss it. It's a small metal canister type fuel filter. Should take 2-3 minutes to replace.
