97 cavalier heater problem, please help have searched forum

I have a 97 cavalier, the problem i am having is the heater blows air and changes from dfrost to vent etc just fine but only blows COLD air will not warm up at all.i replaced the thermostat already and it fixed nothing,i also checked the HEATER CORE and both lines are hot going into it so i assume it is not plugged,i also got new dexcool fluid and topped off the radiator, someone said something about some kind of door being stuck shut and not allowing it to open for the warm air, does anyone know what i can do next to fix this?thanks

nope... check the connection on the back of your HVAC unit.. this requires the dash to be taken apart..

yep.. they are under a vaccum pressure ( the air flow director) and maybe that came undone somehow..just tighten it back down and it will eventually regain pressure over time. Its the far right knob.
