HELP.....overfilled tranny or broken seal? PLEASE HELP!

I changed my clutch this weekend and I may have hit some problems.

I overfilled the tranny. I have an 86 4 speed. I put 4 quarts of syncromesh in and a day later it is still leaking. The leak is coming from one of the little holes on the seal.

advanced and oreilly's told me it was 6 quarts, but I thought it was only 4, What I realized is those guys are idiots because it's 6 pints which equals 3 quarts.

I've heard there is a bolt on the side of the tranny that is for bleeding of overfill, Is this true where is it located?

Is it my seal, they were good before the cradle drop?

If you don't have a dipstick, you should have a level plug on the side. I've always been taught when the axles come out, change the seals EVERY TIME. This has costed me a few extra bucks over the years, but never any leaks

Why is it I see so many "Proud to be an American" bumper stickers on the backs of cars made in Japan or Korea??????

I need to write an article on the dos and don'ts of a fiero .

I believe it is the seal. I investigated last night and I have come to the conclusion of a bad seal once I actually saw where it was leaking. I too have learned to change seals when ever I remove the axles. There like 7.00 at advanced, I like to call it 15.00 insurance.

I just changed the seal and no leak. Once you drop the cradle to change a clutch on a fiero it feels like nothing to do anything else, except to do it again.
