Roblem Honda Accord Engine Light Stays On

Hi All :- I Have A Problem With MY Honda Accord 20 Se Vtec 1998
THE Malfuntion Light orange light came on the dashboard. i checked the car manuell and it says that this is an Engine omitions problem. but the malfuntion light will not and still does not go off, so if any kind folks out there can tell me how to correct this issue and help me id be very gretefull and thanks.

anyhow, take it to your local autoparts store and have them check and see what codes it's giving, then come back here and post them up.

took Car to Honda Dealer they ran a system test it was a case of 2 serious expensive valves that could have gone wrong, the 1 which went wrong on my Honda Accord 20 se vtec was :- tHE EGR VALVE
