Front Mount Cold Air Intake

What does everyone think of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

I'm kinda thinking of making me one, seems like it would catch alot of air.

Re: Front Mount Cold Air Intake

i saw one of these in a magazine before, and i cried. Its made to look like an intercooler, if you want an intercooler look then get a turbo and an intercooler, if you just want the look why not complete it with this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...933024615&rd=1

Re: Front Mount Cold Air Intake

rofl, why spend thousands on a turbo system if you want the sound?

Just get a mic and record someone with an actual turbo and burn it to a cd and then play it everytime you shift and they won't know the difference.

What a waste of 20 bux lol

Re: Front Mount Cold Air Intake

Arospeed makes those things: http://www.arospeed.com/product_info...products_id=92
It comes with a plastic cover for everyday driving and then you take it off at the track to get more air in there, so it'd be ok to use in the rain with the cover on. I saw it on some show on Spike TV a few months ago. But on the stie you can se a pic with it on a Civic, and it doesn't look like an intercooler, looks more like an oil cooler.

Re: Front Mount Cold Air Intake

i think it's more for looks than functionality, cuz you can get the AEM cold air with the bypass valve, etc.

Re: Front Mount Cold Air Intake

If it wasn't so friggin huge... I might actually like it. But It does give the appearance of an intercooler... Way to ricey for me.
