Speed mods for my 93 SC2

What are some of the first things I can do to get better performance out of my 93 SC2? How about modest priced performance equiptment.

for beginners there is SPSwebpage.com

also www.qksltwo.com has a few free-be mods, but you gotta look of them(do the throttle body bore)
