Post 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have a couple of questions.

1) How do I remove the inside door panel from the right rear passenger door. The electric lock isn't locking or unlocking and I want to see if it's just a wire, but I can't get the panel off. I know it should be simple, but I don't want to ruin anything.

#2) Still in the electric lock mode, the lock in the tailgate works, but it emits an awful buzzing noise whenever the unlock button is pushed. Is this the selanoid or what is it?

Thank you for all of your help on these problems.

Re: 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I dunno about the WJ's but there may be a couple screws look for them and if there are none or u have already taken them out, just pull it off gently, there are a couple push clips type things (I refer to them as christmas tree clips - for lack of correct anme) u just have to pull to release them, I use a flat-head screw driver and pry them out.
