LS Tranny Vs. GSR Tranny

Does anybody know if it really makes a difference between the gear ratios of an LS Integra Transmission or a GSR? I'm almost able to afford a GSR engine (b18c1) but don't feel like spending the money on a tranny. Also is there any other way of identifying a GSR/LS Tranny other than the serial number/sticker on the bell housing?

Re: LS Tranny Vs. GSR Tranny

if your drag racing keep gsr tranny because it will give you faster acceleration. ls tranny is better for highway cruising though
