97 s10 blazer surges and dies
i have a 1997 s10 blazer 4.3l v6 auto 4wd and about 4 days ago it started dying while driving down straight streets, then it would just start right up and go fine. suspected the fuel filter needed replaced so i did that and now it is worse than ever. it now acts like it is running out of gas, it will stall and start and go for just a little way and stall. the fuel tank is just above 1/8 on the gauge, could i possibly need to to fill the tank in order for the pump to prime as alot of fuel came out of the fuel lines when i disconnected the filter. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Re: 97 s10 blazer surges and dies
the 97 Blazer has a bad Ignition switch that sometimes prevents power to certain things. for example mine would not crank or even die while going down the road. a friend of mine's would not get power to transmission componets. I don't know if this is even close to your problem but its worth looking into search this forum and you will see others who have had similar problems.
