Unhappy help!! gas guzzling vtec

i recently put in a gen1 b16a into my 90 honda civic. at first it was great on gas, but now i have to fill it every day!! it should last me like 2 days at least, two hour round trip to work and back. anyone know why???

r u using the s1 tranny.if so. try an ls cable tranny.

hmmm well what did you expect by putting a "performance" engine in a car that needs a good gas mileage engine.

Hmm if its not throwing codes. Reset the ecu and let it "learn" your new driving style by driving good-not giving it gas real quick.

I dont know if that will work but hey!

mines was doing that for awhile and it was my fuel filter....wouldnt hurt to replace it for 8$ and see if thats the problem
