Re: turbo for st celicas

just to get the what everyone else is going to say...doing anything to an ST is pointless...its like turbo charging a lawn mower...cool...but stupid...always remember...the ST is the same motor the Geo has...

Re: turbo for st celicas

think about that though...your spending $700 to beat a stock celica...that just sounds bad...u could spend $2000 for a turbo kit for my ex-gts and have nearly 220 whp...your st wont beat that...i know i know...you figure thats only $1200 more...you just saying for a head swap too...thats not with a turbo...ur spending anouther 2 grand for a turbo setup...so in essense...your spending 2700 dollars for something slower than a turbo gt/gts (not trying to sound like an ass...just show you the light....if you want to be shown...just trying to help)

Re: turbo for st celicas

you can boost over 10 psi if you get a metal head gasket...only 12psi...but still higher...if you do some head work you can probably go to 15psi or so

Re: turbo for st celicas

you would nt be able to hit 15psi in a 4afe, i know some pople with 4afe rollas and no way youd hit 15psi on that head/bottem end... F heads arent good for boost, resons being they dont have alot of lift to them, combined with the fact that the intake ports on a F head are small as fuck, good luck if you can even cram that much boosted air up in it...youd have to port the shit outta the intake ports as well aas upped injectors and fuel pump, not really feasable, you might as wel swap for a 4age head and do it..
