98 Grand Prix... HELP PLEASE!

-Just bought a 98 Grand Prix se *with the GT engine 3.8*...
- The Keyless Entry doesn't work. Checked the battery at a dealership and it's not the battery... Can I reprogram it myself or do I have to get it professionally done? Or do I have to get it rewired?
- Car won't stay started... I have to keep my foot on the throttle in park for it to stay started for about a minute or so otherwise it dies... ?
- Transmission clunks *once the car is WARM* into overdrive... needs a transmission flush...?

Newbie, just needs some help... thanks!

Thanks KustomKid54 I will... do you have any ideas about why my car won't stay on? Or about the klunking into overdrive?

How many miles on your car? Did you get it from a dealer? When was the last time it was tuned? How's the air cleaner? No one knows anything about your car. You have a group of guys out here that will do everything they can, but need something to work with.
I'd take it to Auto Zone and have them scan it. That will be the way to find out what's up with the car.
The last 2 GPs I bought had all the records with it. I keep a file cabinet for just my cars.

Understandable, duh... sorry! It just hit 100,000 and no I got it from a family friend... It was tuned about 4000 miles ago... new altenator, tires, battery, and struts 2 months ago... oil changed 1500 miles ago... I'll have to check the air cleaner... my dad's a mechanic on the side for about 25 years but he works 65 hours a week with his regular job and I thought I'd try to help him myself *I've been taught about cars from him for the past 5 years....* Yeah I'll probably take it to Auto Zone to get her checked out... and yes I have all receipts and records... thanks guys!!!
